Training
The Speech Therapy Centre offers a variety of training courses that can be delivered in any establishment, e.g. school, nursing home, business, etc.
Our bespoke courses can be devised according to your specifications and are run over half-day or full-day sessions, depending on the content of the course.
Our training sessions typically cover:
- Common speech and language difficulties in children
- Dysphagia in adults and elderly
- Stroke and communication difficulties
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Presentation skills
If you need help with your presentation skills at work or how you generally communicate with people, you may benefit from our individual elocution and presentation skills sessions, which are offered in six week blocks and will focus specifically on your individual strengths and weaknesses in this area.
These training sessions are ideal for individuals who are facing job interviews, university interviews or a presentation to colleagues, giving you the opportunity to develop and hone the skills you need to make the best possible first impression.
